I built Workspace for Creators because I was tired of generic "best office chair" lists that had nothing to do with how content creators actually work.

If you're a content creator, you know the drill.

You sit down to edit a video. Four hours disappear. You finally look up from your screen—and your back is screaming, your neck is stiff, and your wrist has that familiar ache that makes you wonder if you're doing permanent damage.

I've been there. More times than I can count.

As a content creator, I spent years working from setups that were slowly wrecking my body. A cheap chair from a big-box store. A desk that was never the right height. Lighting that looked terrible on camera AND gave me headaches.

I knew I needed to make changes, but every time I searched for solutions, I found the same frustrating results:

Generic "best standing desk" articles written by people who clearly never edited a 20-minute YouTube video. Product roundups that ranked items based on commission rates, not actual quality. "Ergonomic" recommendations designed for corporate offices—not home studios, streaming setups, or editing bays.

So I started doing my own research. Deep research. I read ergonomics studies. I tested products myself. I talked to other creators about what actually worked for them.

And I realized: there's no resource out there specifically for creators like us.

That's why I built Workspace for Creators.

My Story

What We Do Differently

This isn't a site about cubicle furniture.

Every recommendation on this site is made with content creators in mind—people who spend 6, 8, even 12 hours at their desk editing video, recording podcasts, managing live streams, or building their creative business.

Here's how we approach reviews:

We consider creator workflows. A standing desk that's perfect for typing emails might be terrible for a multi-monitor editing setup. We think about how YOU actually use your workspace.

We cover every budget. Not everyone can drop $1,500 on a Herman Miller chair. We find quality options at every price point—and we're honest about where it makes sense to splurge and where you can save.

We do the research. We dig into ergonomics studies, analyze real user feedback, and test products when possible. No copying spec sheets. No ranking products by commission rate.

We stay independent. Yes, we earn commissions when you buy through our links. That's how we keep the site running. But we'll never recommend something we don't genuinely believe is worth your money. Our reputation matters more than any single commission.
